We're Justin Ceeko and Michael Killian—the husband-and-husband team behind CK Renovation Studio.

For us, creating beautiful homes isn't just what we do—it's how we've chosen to live our lives.

Over the past two decades, we've renovated our own homes, explored some of the world's most inspiring cities, entertained around countless dining tables, and discovered that the spaces we love most all have one thing in common: they tell a story about the people who live there.

That's the philosophy behind CK Renovation Studio.

We believe every home should feel intentional, comfortable, personal, and uniquely yours.

Our journey together began in 2008.

Within weeks of meeting, we were traveling the world together—a tradition that has now taken us to more than 40 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and beyond.

Whether wandering through boutique hotels in Paris, admiring unique architecture in Turkey, discovering artisan markets in Morocco, or enjoying long dinners in Tuscany, we've always been students of beautiful spaces.

Travel taught us that great design isn't about following trends.

It's about creating places that make people feel something.

That lesson has shaped every project we've taken on ever since.

Long before CK Renovation Studio officially existed, we were renovating homes simply because we loved the process.

Michael discovered his passion for transforming homes while restoring a rustic cabin in Big Bear Lake, California. Years later, that passion continued with the complete renovation of a 1930s Art Deco home in San Antonio—an award-worthy transformation featured by the San Antonio Express-News.

Justin brought something equally important to the partnership.

After years with The Cheesecake Factory, where hospitality and exceptional customer experiences were at the center of everything, he developed an instinct for understanding how people experience a space—not just how it looks.

When we renovated our first home together, we realized our strengths complemented one another perfectly.

Michael naturally gravitates toward vision, planning, and seeing what's possible.

Justin has an incredible eye for detail, balance, and the subtle touches that make a house feel like home.

Together, we've spent years refining a process that blends creativity with practicality.

Although our journey eventually led us to California and the beautiful Coachella Valley, where we renovated homes, built lasting friendships, and immersed ourselves in one of America's most vibrant design communities, something kept calling us back.

In January 2026, we returned to San Antonio.

Because sometimes, you can take the boys out of San Antonio...

...but you can't keep them away from the place they'll always call home.

We're proud to once again be serving homeowners throughout San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country—bringing with us years of experience, fresh inspiration from around the world, and a renewed appreciation for the city that helped shape our story.
